Another Take on the Transcendental Field

David Lapoujade has another take on transcendental empiricism and the transcendental field, reading it in terms of William James' radical empiricism. I'm not a big fan of the pragmatist-Deleuze connections (apart from Peirce) as I'm just not sure why Deleuze's ontology needs to be translated into this field. Sometimes I wonder whether this mad dash to translate Deleuze into something other than Deleuze isn't just an attempt to escape the difficulty of his text.
